ASFA Statement of Purpose: "The American Sighthound Field Association is an organization of sighthound fanciers dedicated to the common goal of preserving and further developing the natural beauty, grace, speed, and coursing skill of the sighthound. We will endeavor to promote lure field trials for sighthounds."

ASFA Region 1: The ASFA consists of 10 regions, geographically distributed across the United States. Region 1 includes the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska. There are presently 11 ASFA coursing clubs active within Region 1: seven member clubs and four affiliate clubs. All of these clubs may, at various times of the year, hold ASFA-sanctioned lure trials.
